The Hariri family business is based in Tangiers, Morocco. They are known as the "Madinis", meaning, "the ones who came from Medina". This perfume dynasty began in Medina 14 generations or 4 centuries ago, where they became renown for the quality of their essences. The art of blending and applying oils and essences has been handed down verbally thru the generations via a lengthy and arduous apprenticeship that requires a direct and intimate knowledge of all the nuances of a perfume's composition. The current head of the Madini family, Suleiman, trained under his father for over fifteen years before assuming leadership. Now in Morocco, known for its unique and varied flora, they are able to incorporate rare essences to achieve a harmonious balance.
